Monetary donations allow Read One. Give One. to maintain and expand our volunteer reading and book sharing program in low-income communities. We use the money to purchase books in bulk from wholesalers and publishers and to pay for our minimal administrative costs. Read One. Give One. also accepts donations of new books, gift cards, craft supplies, and various professional and legal services.
Sponsor a Day
Individuals and businesses can sponsor an entire read/book give day. With a $1,500 donation, we can provide more than 300 students with new books. In many elementary schools in low-income communities, this will allow every student in multiple grade levels to receive a brand new book. We promote our ROGO Day Sponsors through social media blog posts, and press releases. Businesses also receive window stickers and a personalized plaque that they can proudly display.
